Just Another Day

Just Another Day

I wake up before the alarm,
Not ready, but still awake.
The room is quiet, the sky half-lit,
And my mind is already late.

There are things I should have said,
And things I should have done,
But the day keeps moving anyway,
It doesn’t wait for anyone.

Some moments hurt, some pass too fast,
Some stay longer than they should,
Still, I show up, step by step,
Doing the best I could.

Maybe that’s what living is—
Not fixing everything today,
Just getting through, and hoping
Tomorrow feels a better way.
